ACC-funded and private physiotherapy, return-to-sport testing, running assessments, and strength-led rehabilitation in Hamilton.
If your injury was caused by an accident — at work, playing sport, at home, or on the road — ACC may cover the full cost of your physiotherapy. We treat a wide range of presentations including ligament injuries, muscle strains, fractures, tendinopathies, concussions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and more. You don't need a GP referral to see us. We can help you lodge a new claim at your first appointment, or continue treatment under an existing one.
Not sure if your injury qualifies? Call us and we'll let you know before you book.
Complete your registration form online before you arrive — it takes about 5 minutes and means we can get straight into your assessment.
45 minutes
Your first appointment covers everything we need to understand your injury and begin rehabilitation. We do a thorough movement and strength assessment, confirm your ACC cover (or help you start a new claim), and build a plan around your specific goals.
You'll leave with a clear picture of what's going on, a realistic timeline, and exactly what the programme looks like. No vague advice.
30 minutes
Follow-up sessions are where the real progress happens. We review where you're at, advance your programme, address setbacks, and apply hands-on treatment where needed. Each session builds on the last — there's no repeating the same exercises indefinitely.
We track progress against your milestones so you can see you're moving forward, not just going through the motions.
45 minutes
For injuries not covered under ACC — overuse injuries, chronic pain, elective post-surgical rehab, performance assessment, or general movement screening.
Same thorough approach: full assessment, clear findings, and a structured programme. Contact us for current pricing.
30 minutes
Ongoing private treatment sessions for patients continuing under a private plan. Same progressive approach — we advance your programme each session and ensure you're on track toward your goals.

Can't make it in? We offer phone consultations for patients who live outside Hamilton, have difficulty travelling, or want to continue their rehab remotely. Telehealth works well for programme reviews, exercise guidance, and follow-up appointments where hands-on treatment isn't the priority.
Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period change your body in ways that generic rehab doesn't account for. ACC now funds birth injury rehabilitation — meaning many women qualify for funded treatment. Whether you're coming in under ACC or privately, the approach is the same: objective, evidence-based, and built around your goals.
60 minutes
A thorough initial assessment for pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, birth injuries, and postpartum recovery. ACC funding applies where your condition is related to a birth injury or accident. We'll help you determine whether you qualify at your first appointment.
30 minutes
Ongoing funded follow-up sessions to progress your pelvic health rehabilitation. Each session builds on the last — advancing your programme, reviewing symptoms, and adjusting load as your body responds.
60 minutes
For pelvic floor concerns, diastasis recti, or postpartum recovery that don't fall under ACC — or where you'd prefer to be seen privately. The same thorough assessment as the ACC initial, without the funding requirements.
30 minutes
Ongoing private follow-up sessions for pelvic health patients. We progress your programme each visit, address any new symptoms, and keep you on track toward your goals — whether that's returning to exercise, managing symptoms, or improving function.

Using VALD ForceDecks and Dynamo technology, we measure your strength, power, and limb symmetry to determine whether you're genuinely ready to return to sport — or to establish a baseline before injury occurs.
Return-to-sport decisions should never be based on time or how you feel. They should be based on whether you've met the criteria. This is how we do it.
20 minutes
Regular neuromuscular fatigue screening using VALD technology, designed for athletes in training blocks or competition phases. Tracking fatigue objectively allows smarter training load decisions — and picks up early warning signs before injury happens.
45–60 minutes
Video-based gait analysis combined with strength and mobility screening to identify the mechanical factors contributing to your running injuries. Whether you're dealing with shin splints, knee pain, or Achilles issues — or just want to run more efficiently — we look at the whole picture.
Available as part of your rehabilitation, not as standalone treatments — because adjuncts work best when they're part of a proper programme, not a replacement for one.
Dry needling uses fine needles inserted into muscle tissue to reduce pain and improve mobility. It's useful for muscle tightness, trigger points, and as a bridge to loading in the early stages of rehab.
BFR training allows you to build muscle strength and mass using very low loads — a significant advantage when you're post-surgical, in pain, or need to work around load restrictions. The evidence is strong, particularly for post-op rehab and older adults.
Ask Us About TheseNo. You can book directly with us. If you have an ACC claim, bring your claim number. If you're not sure whether your injury qualifies for ACC, we can help figure that out at your first appointment.
It depends on the injury and your goals. At your initial consultation, we'll give you a realistic estimate. Most acute injuries resolve in 4–8 sessions; complex or post-surgical cases take longer. We'll keep you updated at every stage.
ACC covers physiotherapy for injuries caused by an accident — sport, work, or everyday life. It doesn't cover degenerative conditions like osteoarthritis or overuse injuries that developed gradually without a specific incident. Not sure? Call us and we'll give you a straight answer.
VALD ForceDecks and Dynamo are force plates and dynamometry devices used to measure strength, power, and limb symmetry objectively. We use them for return-to-sport decisions and athlete baseline testing. If you're recovering from ACL reconstruction, lower limb surgery, or a serious sports injury, it's worth discussing at your initial consult.
Yes. Phone consultations are available for programme reviews, follow-ups, and patients who can't make it in. It works well when hands-on treatment isn't the primary focus of a session.
Comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being treated. Shorts for lower limb, singlet or loose t-shirt for shoulder or upper back.
Yes. Where clinically appropriate, patients receive a digital exercise programme they can access on their phone — with videos and clear instructions. No relying on memory or a hand-drawn diagram.
